We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to serve as a Associate Minister for our vibrant congregation. The Associate Minister plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our church, overseeing administrative functions and supporting various ministries. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the church office.
- Supervise and support administrative staff and volunteers.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and improvements of church property.
- Facilitate effective communication within the church community through newsletters, bulletins, and other communication channels.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of church members.
- Assist with membership inquiries and updates.
- Assist in planning and coordinating church events, conferences, and special services.
- Provide administrative support to church departments.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among ministry leaders.
- Ensure compliance with church policies and procedures.
- Work with church leadership to develop and update policies as needed.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of church staff and volunteers.
- Manage personnel records and coordinate volunteer schedules.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the church’s strategic plans.
- Provide administrative support for long-term goals and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in Associate Minister or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in office software and database management.
- Understanding of church operations, policies, and ministries.
Salary & Working Hours:
- Guaranteed salary for Lead Minister: £26,500pa
- Basic working Hours is 37.5 hours per week
