Media Co-ordinator

The Sound coordinator position sits under the Worship Minister who sits under the Senior/Lead Minister in the hierarchy chart provided.

Job Overview:

We are searching for a creative and technically skilled individual to join our church community as a Media Personnel. This role is instrumental in enhancing the overall worship experience by managing and producing multimedia content for church services, events, and online platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, recording, editing, and production of multimedia content for church services, including video announcements, worship videos, and sermon recordings.
    • Collaborate with the worship team, technical crew, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of multimedia elements during services.
    • Manage the live streaming process for church services and events, ensuring a high-quality online experience for remote congregants.
    • Troubleshoot and address technical issues related to live streaming equipment and software.
    • Create visually appealing graphics for church announcements, sermon series, events, and social media platforms.
    • Ensure a consistent and engaging visual identity across all church media.
    • Develop and implement a social media strategy to promote church events, share inspirational content, and engage with the online community.
    • Regularly update and monitor social media accounts, responding to comments and messages.
    • Provide technical support for audio-visual equipment during church services, rehearsals, and events.
    • Train and coordinate volunteers to assist with audio-visual tasks.
    • Keep the church website updated with current information, events, and multimedia content.
    • Organize and maintain a photo library for future use.
    • Work with web developers to ensure the functionality and responsiveness of the website.
    • Capture high-quality photographs during church events and activities
    • Provide training sessions for volunteers interested in joining the media team.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in multimedia production.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in multimedia production, graphic design, and social media management.
  • Proficiency in multimedia software, graphic design tools, and live streaming platforms.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary & Working Hours:

  • Guaranteed salary for Religious Worker: £26,500pa
  • Basic Working Hours is 35 hours per week
