The Sound coordinator position sits under the Worship Minister who sits under the Senior/Lead Minister in the hierarchy chart provided.
Responsibilities:
Duties of the Sound Coordinator
- Operate the sound the sound desk and also recruit and appoint other sound crew members including Operator, Mic Tech/s and assistant as needed.
- Work with Worship Minister regarding logistic planning and sourcing equipment for the technical requirement for sound design
- Produce a sound design and in consultation with the worship minister to develop a plot of sound and mic cues for inclusion
- Organize microphones in preparation for church services and programs
- Leading the Sound Crew Team
- Produce a plan for the set-up of all sound equipment’s.
Qualifications:
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required for Sound Coordinator
- The post occupier must hold a minimum of High School education.
- A strong personal Christian faith.
- A good knowledge of Sound
- Experience working in the Sound and Technical department in a Church
- Ability to provide advice and recommendation on sound equipment
- An ability to work within and maintain professional boundaries when working with people.
- Understanding and knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding issues.
- A commitment and ability to work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
Salary & Working Hours:
- Guaranteed salary for Religious Worker: £26,500pa
- Basic Working Hours is 35 hours per week
